• Calibration of BOSCH engine management systems for our customers
• Evaluation of customer requirements, effort estimation and planning of own tasks
• Planning, executing and evaluation of measurements at test benches and in the vehicle.
• Optimization of the corresponding parameters (e.g. engine base calibration, vehicle calibration, on board diagnostics) • Initial operation, calibration and verification of specific functions at the engine, vehicle dynamometers or test track
• Set up and commissioning of test equipment
• Participation at test trips (summer, winter, altitude tests, test tracks)
• Interface to our development centre in Stuttgart, Germany
• Customer contact for technical questions
• Creation of technical development reports for status of the completed calibration tasks
• Presentation, discussion and approval of the results at customer
• Liaise with other development teams to share knowledge
• Develop technical expertise of self and colleagues
• Experience in either gasoline or diesel EMS calibration
• Expertise in at least one calibration functional area
