This position is for a senior software engineer to develop network testing software applications with the potential to assume responsibilities of a team development lead in the near future. Be part of an international team developing one of the industry's leading test tool for emulating real-world applications to predict device and system performance under realistic load conditions. This is accomplished by emulating hundreds of protocols across thousands of network endpoints. It requires an immediate and significant technical contribution to complex object oriented software development including architecture, functional and design specifications, implementation, development testing and bug-fixing.
¿ Enthusiast and willing to work in the network testing development field
¿ Excellent knowledge of C/C++ (minimum 2 years experience)
¿ Good to excellent skills in OOP and OOD
¿ At least 4 years of professional work as a software developer
¿ Strong algorithms and data structures knowledge
¿ Self driven and able to mentor others software engineers
¿ Hard working and highly motivated
¿ Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Additional skills considered a plus:
¿ Prior experience as team leader
¿ Good background in network programming
¿ Experience in *NIX programming (especially multithreading)
¿ .NET - C# knowledge or Java experience
¿ Experience using a software development process
¿ Highly organized and detail oriented
