• Inside ITEC, the IT for Investment Bank of Societe Generale Group, ITEC/CTT/SOL department is in charge of trading and structured products applications
• Inside the ITEC/CTT/SOL team, our team “FAR EXO” develops and maintains the application of risk analysis on structured products like Equities, Credit, Interest Rates and FX.
• FAR EXO is a Business Intelligence application, managing financial risks of SG Exotic Trading desks, from the industrial calculators to the trader's Excel spreadsheets.
• Our team in Paris is going to reinforce with Bucharest nearshore activity with the goal to develop new functionalities requested by the Front Office : new indicators, risk analysis, but also to maintain and secure the current functions.
You will be involved in activities like:
• Develop new features front office as part of commando team;
• Tests, integration into development factory
• Ensure the delivery of high quality solutions to agreed specifications and within agreed time scales, sometimes very short delivery time;
• Drive innovation by coming up with new ideas for our products and processes;
• Point out issues with the existing architectures and codes on different projects, followed by active involvement in order to clean it up;
• Maintain a close relationship with the French team and ensure that the final result responds to its needs.
• Write technical specifications for an effective implementation;
• Acting as an adviser and mentor for other less experienced team members, if necessary.
• Excellent understanding of SQL Language and C#
• Understanding of SQL server objects
• Knowledge of cubes and analysis services within SQL Server
• Experience in Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS) would be a plus.
• SQL queries optimization, indexes usage, query plans, joins
• Applicants should have experience working on important volume of data. Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
