The Buyer will have to establish, develop and maintain a strong supplier platform for the company’s operations. He/she will be in charge of building up a reliable and competitive supplier platform – primarily within luxury products.
Responsibilities:
• Identifying potential suppliers in the luxury industry, from the country and abroad;
• Ensuring qualification of new suppliers;
• Negotiating and establishing supplier contracts;
• Being responsible for the day-to-day communication and follow-up with suppliers;
• Bridging specifications/information between suppliers and the company;
• Performance reporting.
• Experienced buyer in luxury industry with documented results;
• Strong in negotiation and contract writing;
• Good understanding/knowledge of the luxury industry in general;
• Strong drive, analytical, persistent and reliable;
• High activity level – can manage effectively more tasks at the same time;
• Strong user of MS Office (Word, Excel);
• Fluent in English (read/write).
