The primary focus of the "Systems Administrator" role is to help ensure that the departmental information systems contain the latest available information, and that our systems are properly communicating with other information systems throughout PTC.
In addition, the Systems Administrator will be called upon to perform other task-based work to help support the following groups, located in all parts of the world:
1) Regional training managers and their administrators
2) Personnel in PTC's information technology department
3) Our community of over 800 instructors (both PTC employees and partners)
The Systems Administrator will perform other activities based on talents, interests, and current departmental needs. We are a fast-growing department with lots of exciting work to be done!
- An Associates degree (or higher)
- industry experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- A commitment to providing good customer service.
- Very strong knowledge and demonstrated excellence using Microsoft Excel.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated excellence in managing information in a variety of formats (text files, Excel workbooks, database tables, etc.)
- A strong desire to learn new skills.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who meet some of the following criteria:
- Experience working for a software company.
- Experience working within a training business.
- Experience developing instruction sheets, and technical courses
