The Business Analyst is a member of the IT Development team and performs a variety of business analyst, and project management tasks. The candidate may fill one or more roles on a single project or play a single role across several projects. Specific assignments will depend on the size and complexity of the project but will generally include:
¿ Analyzing existing and proposed procedures and systems
¿ Structuring internal processes and procedures
¿ Identifying areas for improvement leading to cost reduction
¿ Gathering and documenting of business requirements, functional specifications, and visual system designs
¿ Acting as the interface and advocate between the business users and the development teams
¿ Producing requirements documents that may take the form of Word documents, diagrams, matrices, use cases, process flows or other similar artifacts
¿ Creating and maintaining detailed project plans for team members and summary project plans or presentations for stakeholders

¿ The role requires credibility and confidence interacting with senior management, business unit and compliance/legal personnel, and the technology team across the full lifecycle of a project
¿ Finding procedures to do things more efficiently and effectively
¿ Recommending process improvement solutions
¿ University Degree in a technical domanin or economic
¿ experience performing business analysis and requirements specifications
¿ experience in planning, tracking and reporting medium to high complexity technology projects
¿ relevant experience in Business Process Reengineering
¿ critical thinking and translation of business needs into technology solutions
¿ experience in Project Management
¿ solid knowledge of project/portfolio management techniques and Microsoft Project
¿ working knowledge of modern systems architectures and software development techniques
¿ Working knowledge of mainframe, distributed and web technology platforms
¿ Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment
¿ Candidate should have flexibility to adapt as the project evolves
¿ dynamic self-starter and results oriented
¿ good command of English
