The IT Department of Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time BI (ETL) Developer specialized in Business Objects Data Integrator and Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse development.Responsibilities:
- Meet the expectations of business users by designing, developing and maintaining ETL jobs and related data warehouse models/objects/systems.
- Participate in architectural and model decisions during the design and build phases of new projects.
- Work closely with application developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse.
- Participate in Business Objects (BO) universe and report design & development.
- Ensure that formal documentation is produced for all development projects.
- Communicate effectively with Data Warehouse Developers and Business Intelligence Project Managers and Analysts.
- University diploma in IT related field or proven experience in the BI domain.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing SQL and stored procedures code.
- Clear understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data warehouse lifecycles and a strong understanding of the role of methodology / frameworks is an advantage
- Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques.
- Experience with other reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as BO 6.x, Cognos, ProClarity, Microstrategy, PowerAnalyzer, etc, is a plus.
- Experience with Analysis Services and Reporting Services is a plus.
- Experience working as or with a business analyst is a plus.
- Good knowledge of English and/or French.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
