For one of our business-friend clients a a dynamic, well establish fast growing company we are searching for an outstanding professional capable to manage complex software projects to fill the role of Business Intelligence Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse database structures and Business Intelligence solutions;
- Assessing requirements and defining the strategy, architecture, implementation plan and delivery of data warehousing and BI project;
- Recommending and/or selecting data warehouse technologies (e.g., ETL, DBMS, Data Quality, BI) in consultation with relevant stakeholders;
- Perform complex data conversions and migrations;
- Perform training sessions for the client according to the project plan.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of databases, data structures, data processing techniques, SQL, stored procedures;
- Knowledge of star schema/dimensional modelling and data warehouse methodology;
- Experience with BI tools: Data Modelling, Ad-hoc Reporting, OLAP technology;
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies;
- Previous work experience with a BI platform and/or databases;
Soft Skills Requirements :
- Very good knowledge of English;
- Ability to analyze information quickly and accurately;
- Excellent problem solving skills, „can do” attitude;
- Good communication skills (both oral and written) and strong analytical skills are essential;
- Client-awareness, willingness to understand each client’s particular needs;
- A real team-player, who shares effort to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
Previous work experience in a financial environment would be a plus.
