Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst works with the business users and the external partner to assist in the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with the business users to identify and define business requirements for business intelligence projects. Also creates, updates, and maintains detailed documentation of business requirements, attributes, and metrics.
2. Help to translate business requirements into functional specifications, review the specifications, develop test plans and test data.
3. Maintains a close relationship with the external partner, monitoring/mitigating the requests for new developments/changes, and keeps the system functional and technical documentation up to date.
3. Designs and creates front-end reports and queries to provide data access to business users through business intelligence system.
4. Analyzes and profiles source system data and recommends business intelligence solutions for analysis and reporting needs.
5. Helps business users to prepare input data for business intelligence system.
6. Works with end users to troubleshoot user issues and to resolve user requests.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of advanced VBA; advanced SQL/SQL Server and advanced Microsoft Office, Access.
Strong knowledge of Intermediate English is also required and minimum 2 years experience on a similar position
