RESPONSABILITATI

The Local RUs Business Developer is responsible for evaluating and managing new initiatives and business opportunities. He/she oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.
In the frame of the Offer and Opportunity management process, the business developer:
- Is in charge of identifying and defining all the future radio projects that our customer would launch
- prepares in their futures end customer sales offers
- helps his/her customers acquiring knowledge about the market trends and will propose Alcatel-Lucent Wireless solutions
- plays an active role during the development of technical and commercial strategies in order to distinguish our offer from our competitors.
In agreement with the sales/ business development director and with the appropriate product line, the business developer will have to:
- Identify customers needs as well as create needs in order to anticipate calls for tender
- Anticipate customers¿ needs to ensure a global presence of all the Alcatel-Lucent radio solutions in these operators
- Manage the whole customer relationship and penetrate decision centers
- Manage the opportunities and the competitors move
- Help establishing commercial offers for the operator
- Propose end-to-end radio solutions and explain the impacts of the different Alcatel-Lucent radio solutions.
The Local RUs Business Developer¿s mission has some complementarities with the Sales forces:
- He/she works in partnership with the sales in order to be synchronous and share all the knowledge on this operator

The job is hosted within Wireless Group of Alcatel.
Short duration business trips abroad are envisaged since travelling to France and other countries within the RSC clusters will be necessary. A 3 months training phase is planned.
The job is based in BUCHAREST.


CERINTE

Education:
University degree in science

Required skills:
IT and Telecom principles
Mobile Networks specialization (UMTS, GSM radio protocols, PDH/SDH microwave transmissions)
Knowledge in Mobile market (operators and/or infrastructure supplier)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Languages:
Working language is English.
- Fluent English is compulsory
- French is a plus

Professional experience:
A 3 year experience is required, in:
- Mobile networks (BSS, NSS, Applications) end-to-end architecture,
- Mobile network radio infrastructure: UTRAN, BSS, PDH/SDH
- Pre-sales or post-sales experience in communication and customer skills
An experience in a multi-product environment as a tendering manager or as a project manager is a plus.
