About our client

Our client - leading Romanian producer of small diameter seamless steel pipes is now looking for Business Development Manager for the Oil and Gas industry division with regional responsibilities on Austrian and Hungarian market.

Job description

Follows the sales and services activities of the assigned geographical region or products accounts, determining action plans aligned with the BU or segment strategy and qualitative global objectives to deploy the BU or segment objectives across the regions or accounts, maximizing sales opportunities and ensuring the growth of the group of the regions or accounts.

- Business development, sales of OCTG related products and services for Eastern European Market

- Analyze and monitors Tenaris OCTG market share in the region.

- Supports Key Account & Project Manager in relationship with the main clients

- Develops relationship with drilling companies in Austria and Hungary.

- Implements and monitor Customer Satisfaction improvement plan for the main customers

- Determines the action plan and objectives for the regions or accounts aligned with BU or segment objectives and strategy.

- Detects and develops differentiation opportunities (products or services) in order to enhance Tenaris positioning.

- Establishes short term objectives, tactical moves and operating plans for future development at a regional / account level.

- Maximizes sales opportunities by meeting sales volume objectives, identifying and solving the problems affecting sales or distribution of the products in the corresponding region or segment and identifying proper commercial channels and conditions associated to orders.

- Coordinates with Marketing department the execution of defined marketing strategies and regional segment plans providing inputs to market intelligence activities; also ensuring development of sales objectives and pricing strategies defined with Inside Sales department.

- Establishes and develops close relationships with customers

- Provides input to Sales Management on Product Development activities.

- Ensures the achievement of Business Unit commercial objectives exploring opportunities to develop new services.

- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.

Who we are looking for

- Experience: More than 2 years work experience in Business development, sales of OCTG related products

- Education: University degree (Engineering/ Commercial)

- Language: English - advanced, German, Hungarian, Russian - advantage
