For our client,IKEA company, we are looking for a business developer.IKEA offers well-designed, functional home furnishings at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them. IKEA Trading Operations supports and develops professional relations with all the IKEA Suppliers. In cooperation with their suppliers, they secure the lowest possible cost to the customers around the world and they ensure the customer availability by improving production planning and delivery performance.
You will be part of the ceramics team and be responsible for:
- developing performance of existing and finding new suppliers
- optimizing the purchasing possibilities and ensuring their high level efficiency
- continuous analyses of business indicators and creating tailor-made action plans and goals for each supplier, enhancing full potentials of the business
- develop existing production capacities and support the product life cycle process ensure products are delivered in line with agreed conditions and IKEA standards and specifications
- optimize costs of the assigned products
- negotiations with suppliers and building prosperous and long term relations with them.
You need to have:
- university degree and minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or business development
- experience in leading large scale projects and/or in big multinational structures would be an advantage
- extensive knowledge of supply chain as well as legal issues of purchasing operations
- good understanding of macroeconomic indicators
- energetic, goal-oriented and persistent achiever
- excellent negotiator
- willingness for intensive business traveling
- fluency in English and PC skills, including databases are prerequisites
- driving license
