On behalf of our client, Avenir Telecom Romania, we are currently searching for a hands-on, dynamic and self-driven professional suited for the role of Business Controller.

Avenir Telecom was founded in Marseilles in 1989. Since its inception it has steadily pursued its development in the telecommunications market. Avenir Telecom plans to increase the number of Internity shops, and become the leading chain for mobile communications and digital convergence in Europe.

In the Group since 1999, Avenir Telecom Romania is now a major distributor in the country thanks to the dual sales channel: direct and indirect. In Romania, Avenir Telecom operates 122 Internity shops in partnership with Cosmote.

The responsibilities of the Business Controller will consist of:
• Sets up the internal control department: objectives, processes, procedures, tools, relationships with other departments etc.;
• Reviews accuracy and completeness of accounting data
• Assists the Finance and Administrative Director on budget preparation, actual vs. forecast analysis, and any other financial reporting tasks, as requested
• Prepares specific management reports
• Proposes, estimates and analyzes the key performance indicators of the business
• Leads local implementation of group controlling projects
• Reviews and tests personally existing internal controls and risk management procedures and their enforcement throughout daily operations, in the head-office and in the stores; the actions of the Business Controller include transactions, documents, stocks, compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures;
• Makes recommendations regarding financial and operational systems based on findings, and follows up on their implementation
• Visits regularly stores across the country.


CERINTE

• Finance/Economic degree
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position, Big4 experience is an advantage
• Excellent computer skills (standard ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & Access)
• Strong time management and problem solving skills
• Business partner mindset
• Powerful and persuasive communicator
• Availability for traveling domestically and internationally
• Fluent English (mandatory), French is an advantage.
