Business Controller
Job Description:
Timely and regular reporting and analyze of management information to local/regional management vs. plan and historical data with regard to: business / channel profitability - local / integral margin / EBIT; customer profitability – local / integral margin / EBIT; product profitability - local / integral margin; net Operating capital with emphasis on A/R, DSO and commercial inventories performance per BG; selling expenses development per BG / channel
Responsible for monthly closing process in SAP / BCS
Responsible for credit management
Responsible for PPR management
Responsible for cost center / profit center accounting
Control of master data accuracy related to customer, vendor, material, pricing in coordination with RSU IT Pila / Data manager CSE
SAP FICO & BW key user
Responsible for Customer Profitability process across all BGs of Lighting
Control of purchasing process and approval for non-product related purchases according to the local authorization matrix
Prepare and review yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts on the required level
Forecasting and budgeting NOC and non-financial indicators
Strengthen budgeting/forecasting process and provide tools for monitoring of operational results
Set-up and manage accounting systems and procedures - develop compliance between company's chart of accounts and Romanian chart of accounts for the purpose of consolidation of data for statutory reporting, transfer to internal database in SAP
Examine, review and monitor accounts and procedures of company operations in order to simplify, streamline and maintain financial control
Manage year-end closing procedures/results
Reconciliation of differences with external supplier in case of purchased goods prices
Implement and develop monthly accrual procedure in order to assure compliance between moment of posting and actual moment of occurrence
Administrative organization and internal control (include logistic process)
Prepare formalities in accordance with local legislation for cash collection in case of bad debtors, rejected cheques; prepare/check contracts related to local lighting activity
Information technologies responsible – maintain and develop existing/new ERP, IT applications
Support internal/external audit control
Responsible for company lighting process execution, including timely warning about possible issues to respective business management / regional controller
Responsible for implementation of action plans related to ICS issues
Member of MT- team and provider of adequate information to steer the business
Monthly P&L and Balance sheet corporate account preparation
Specific SRF’s preparation; ICS Tool
Job requirements:
At least 3-5 years of experience on a similar position (preferably FCMG)
University graduate in Finance or Accounting
Team player with strong managerial skills
Ability to work under pressure
extensive knowledge of Romanian Fiscal Law
Extensive SAP experience
Experience with monthly-closing procedures, preferably in international companies
Strong communication abilities; fluency in English
Strong PC skills (MS Office)
Fast learner
Proactive
