BRD – Societe Generale Group - is looking for young professional specialized in finance and accounting for Societe Generale European Business Services (SG EBS).
Societe Generale European Business Services delivers added value services for Societe Generale Group, starting with finance and accounting support for branches and subsidiaries located all aroundEurope. Fast growing company, it will progressively enlarge its scope to other activities.
Responsibilities:
Participates to offshoring projects and process improvement projects in SGEBS Finance activities: financial accounting, management accounting, regulatory reporting, account payable;
Participates to all the phases of the projects:
- preparing the logistical environment and technical infrastructure;
- analysis and documentation of the processe;
- offshoring study and business cases;
- building and implementation of the offshoring plans, considering the local impact;
- organizing the work shadowing and parallel run;
- training for the new resources, transfer of competencies;
- set up of new operational processes between the local entity and SG EBS.
Involved in process improvement projects in order to ensure an permanently upgrading of the processes within SGEBS and between SGEBS and the local entities.
Strong financial/accounting academic background (preferably A.S.E. – Accounting and Information Management Faculty or Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchange), preferably in banking or finance area;
Minimum 3 years experience in financial processes transition within an international environment;
Good knowledge about accounting, controlling, regulatory reporting wishable;
Analytical abilities, reliability and quality orientation;
Strong organization and result orientation;
Good communication, interpersonal skills and team spirit;
Good IT/ Office applications knowledge (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint);
Advanced level of French and English;
Availability to travel in Europe from time to time depending on the projects needs, or for training reasons.
