RESPONSABILITATI

- Set up the strategy of the Romanian company in terms of number/depth of research product offerings.
- Agrees with EVCA Headquarter on governance tools (internal reporting and monitoring and reporting to head quarter) to be put in place and to set up work processes, and business risk management tools.
- Team management: to define Key performance indicators, management/coaching/recruiting of the staff, training needs, evaluation, promotion of the Romanian company’s employees.
- Manages the data collection process.
- Day to day management of the branch office.


CERINTE

Background:
- preferably Finance or Economics, BA degree+, knowledge of financial markets is needed but could have been acquired via work experience as well, knowledge on private equity (or alternative assets in general) is an asset;

Required expertise:
- 7-10 years of work experience with at least 2 years experience in the financial services industry, with major experience in project management or development;
- Has managed people/teams before;

Foreign languages:
- English – fluent is a MUST
- second Western European language is an asset (conversational level)

Our client, EVCA (European Venture Capital Association) represents, promotes and protects the long-term interests of the private equity and venture capital industry in Europe.
EVCA\'s activities focus on services such as research, training, conferences, communication on topical issues (regulatory or not) on private equity.
EVCA is looking for highly motivated professionals to join the newly created office.

Purpose of the Branch Manager role:

Day-to-day management of the local branch and management of data collection.
