General:
- This role is part of the 2nd line technical support team within Ericsson GSDC in Romania;
- Maintain high levels of service continuity on RAN & Transmission for external customers
- The organization is responsible for provisioning and operation of customer’s data and voice network
- Within the responsibility are complicated fault restorations (Assurance), technical changes, configuration management, readiness, security, performance management, preventive maintenance, provisioning and consultancy
Responsabilities:
- He/she is responsible for advanced handling of customer service requests within the area of Radio and Transport with full responsibility for lead-time and quality
- He/she takes responsibility that WLA objectives are being meet according to defined fault priority level
- Communicate with sub-contractors/partners/customers as well as with various internal units and stakeholders
- Analyze, isolate and solve complex fault issues as well as contribute to corrective actions
Technical
- Minimum 2-3 years of any telco vendor Access and Transport implementation/integration experience
- Documented several years of experience from advanced service and/or maintenance within the requested competence areas
- Advanced knowledge in RNC, RBS, PDH & SDH Network (any of the following: RNC Siemens & Ericsson, RBS Siemens & Ericsson, Alcatel ISA Board, PDH Node, Ericsson Traffic Node, Ericsson Mini-Link, Ericsson Mini-Link Manager, OSS RC, TMN Alcatel, Siemens Radio Commander)
Education
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Information Systems
Others
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- 24h x 7 on call availability for critical issues
- If needed, availability for working abroad – detached – 3-4 months per year.
