General:
- The main purpose of this ob is to offer 3rd level support on Unix platforms and maintain high quality relations with other FO / BO (2nd line) teams.
Responsabilities:
- Track and manage problem escalations via an industry standard call tracking system and co-ordinate implementation of root cause fixes with suppliers.
- Provide high level service to the customer strictly observing current SLAs and WLAs.
Technical
- 3 Years supporting large SAN or Storage infrastructures
- 3 years McData SAN Fabrics
- 3 Years XP512, XP1024 and HP12000 Storage Arrays Administrative experience in Tier 1 and 2 environments
- 2 Years experience of Performance and Capacity management / reporting
- 2 Years Broacade or EMC Switch environments
- 2 years Operating System knowledge including SUN Solaris and HP/UX/ LINUX
- Demonstrable Knowledge of Vendor Escalation and Management
- Demonstrable Knowledge of NAS Storage Solutions
- Demonstrable Knowledge of Disk to Disk Backup environments including HP Dataprotector
- 3 Years supporting large SAN Storage infrastructures
Education
- Technical university degree, IT/Telecom
Others
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- 24h x 7 on call availability for critical issues
- Availability for initial knowledge transfer abroad, 2-3 months
