General:
The engineer is directly responsible for providing 3rd Line fault resolution, monitoring and deployment in support of all security applications.
Responsabilities:
- Work with other teams to provide secure solutions
- Maintenance of the security infrastructure including firewall, IDS and authentication solutions
- Ensure all problems are dealt with within SLAs, with an emphasis on taking ownership of any problems that affect the customer experience
- Aid in any operational activities/support
- To work with 3rd party providers to resolve technical issues
- Track and manage problem escalations via an industry standard call tracking system and co-ordinate implementation of root cause fixes with suppliers
- Provide Security Support within core hours for “test environments”
- Investigate any inappropriate e-mail correspondence
Technical
- 3+ years experience with Checkpoint FW1 (Firewall)/Provider-1 in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years experience with Cisco Firewall in an enterprise environment including PIX, ASA and Firewall Service Modules
- Extensive operating system troubleshooting skills on UNIX/Wintel
- Excellent knowledge of protocols and ports such as IPSEC, ICMP,UDP, SNMP, SSH, SSL, Syslog, NTP, SMTP, DNS
- Excellent networking knowledge, TCP/IP, RIP,OSPF
Education
- University degree in technology/science
Others
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- 24h x 7 on call availability for critical issues
- Availability for initial knowledge transfer abroad, 2-3 months
Nice to have requirements
- Nokia IPSO systems and VRRP
- Minimum 2 years experience with Bluecoat ProxySG in an enterprise environment where complex CPL code is used
- Experience with F5 LTM load balancers
- Extensive experience with Cisco ACS using internal and external databases
- Extensive security troubleshooting skills using tools such as TCPDUMP, fwmonitor, capture filters, IKE debug, VPN TU, Wireshark.
- Experience with Radware Content Inspection Director
- Experience with ActivIdentity two factors authentication / PKI
- Experience with Procera deep packet inspection
- Experience with Clavister firewalls
