General:
- This role is part of 3rd line technical support team within Ericsson GSDC in Romania;
- maintain all CRM systems with optimum performance , reliability and availability
- transfer new CRM systems and upgrades into the production environment with the minimum of downtime and issues.
- innovate system and service improvements for all CRM systems.
Responsabilities:
- the CRM Engineer works within a team of highly motivated individuals to ensure the smooth transition of CRM applications into the Operational environment.
- provide 3rd line support for the suite of mission critical CRM Applications.
- supply input to 4th line development teams to ensure readiness for Service Delivery.
- manage the transition of Application changes and capacity upgrades.
- manage the transition of Applications to CRM IT Operations 2nd line teams.
- track tickets, Work Orders and escalations via an industry standard call-tracking system.
- be aware of forthcoming platform and software enhancements and plan for their impact to the Operations team.
- assist with the mentoring of new people into the team.
- Install and manage Service Delivery testing environments.
- liaise with testing teams in preparation for operational readiness.
Requirements:
Technical
- Strong platform experience (UNIX, Microsoft Windows NT)
- 3 years relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of CRM applications
- Oracle Database skills and knowledge (SQL, PL/SQL, Schema)
Education
- University degree
Others
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- 24h x 7 on call availability for critical issues
- Availability for initial knowledge transfer abroad, 2-3 months
- Ability to work and communicate effectively at management and technical levels
- Must be analytical, methodical, flexible, professional and have an organised approach to work.
- Desire to investigate solutions to problems and follow through to satisfactory conclusion
Nice to have requirements:
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft CRM or similar
- Experience of supporting Weblogic and or Resin
