RESPONSABILITATI

General:

- This role is part of 2nd line technical support team within Ericsson GSDC in Romania;

- Liaison with required parties to ensure the co-ordination and evaluation of change building testing, approval & implementation which is undertaken in a proactive manner, whilst reducing risk to operational services and eliminating adverse impact on customers.

Responsabilities:

- Attendance / chair change advisory board meetings and subsequent publication of change status via schedules / calendar

- Ensure change is facilitated in a pro-active and dynamic manner, particularly focused on reducing risk and minimising adverse service impact

- Effective communication of all change requests proposed to affected Business areas, irrespective of status

- Development an ongoing management of all change & configuration management procedures, adhering to business best practice

- Undertake risk analysis and impact assessment against all changes proposed, whilst interfacing with support groups and customer

- Review all changes proposed and implemented and undertake the provision of updates to a configuration management database

- Initiate trends analysis reporting, identifying repeat instances of problematic implementations

- Identify and baseline all required assets that will be populated and accurately maintained within a configuration management database

- Identification and implementation of required software tool(s) to provide an effective and efficient service, adhering to business best practices

Requirements:

Technical

- At least one year experience of an IT and / or telecoms environment

- Customer focused

- Meticulous nature with a high attention to detail

- Good analytical skills

- Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

Education

- University degree

Others

- Fluent English (spoken and written)

- 24h x 7 on call availability for critical issues

- Availability for initial knowledge transfer abroad, 2-3 months

- Ability to show initiative to resolve issues

- Meticulous, methodical, analytical, flexible, assertive and tenacious nature

- Good written and assertive verbal communication to all staff internally and 3rd party vendors

- A self starter, showing initiative and creativity

Nice to have requirements:

- ITIL qualifications (Foundation / Practitioner level)
