On behalf of our client, a Multinational Telecommunication Company, we are searching for a Billing System Specialist.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzes the business requirements specification in order to find out proper solution for implementation / customization / upgrade / integration in the billing systems;
• Acts as consultant in development of the company business processes in regards to the involvement of the billing systems;
• Configures billing systems in order to meet the business requirements and assures prompt and correct implementation;
• Tests new software shipments in order to ensure that the shipment satisfies the business requirements and to guarantee the complete compatibility of the shipment with the other software packages in place;
• Provides first level of support for the users;
• Resolves in a timely manner the complaints reported by the users/customers and provides feedback;
• Ensures the running of the billing processes according to the defined schedules;
• Involved in creating/modifying/implementation of operational procedures;
• Ensures compliance of the implementation with the roadmap of the systems;
• Creates/Updates documentation for the implementation of the features in the system as required by the office/department policy;
• Develops workarounds (to be approved by the Billing vendor) in the course of problems resolution.
• Technical or scientific degree/diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering;
• At least 4 years of experience in IT, preferable in area of billing and/or finance and mass data processing;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL;
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell script (preferable KornShell);
• Good knowledge of Unix;
• Knowledge of BSCS billing system by LHS;
• Knowledge of GSM technology and services;
• Good knowledge of programming language (C/C++ or Java) is beneficial;
• Fluency in English.
