Oracle Support provides technical and functional assistance to Oracle¿s customers globally. Opportunities exist for Support Engineers in our expanding Billing & Revenue Management (BRM) application¿s support team.


JOB SUMMARY:
This challenging position puts you at the forefront of interactions with Oracle BRM application¿s customers, partners, and systems integrators, who are deploying BRM products to deliver Revenue Management Solutions in the communications and media markets. Reporting to the Technical Support Director, as a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) you will be responsible for providing second level technical support to customers, system integration (SI) partners, and BRM application field personnel. Additional responsibilities include the escalation of critical cases to product development, resolving technical issues with Engineering, reviewing new product deliverables and specifications, and conducting internal training on your areas of specialization. You may also be called upon to provide remote diagnostics, research and reproduce reported problems and contribute to BRM application¿s knowledge base.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS & SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Proven strong customer service attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to resolve complex, technical problems with minimal assistance.
- Ability to interface effectively with BRM application¿s customers and engineering teams.
- Detail oriented, well organized, self-learner and a strong team player.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven programming experience with C/C++.
- Proven technical support skills, in a related environment (involving software support, business applications, client/server architecture).
- Must have thorough knowledge of Window, Unix OS and Oracle/SQL Server Database.
- Knowledge on Scripting and Java will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle), and knowledge of UNIX/NT server environments.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience with RDBMS, C, UNIX.
- Knowledge of Billing & Revenue Management software (Infranet) preferred.
