- Maintain relationships with existing customers for a large portfolio of clients and consequently the number of transport orders;
- Prospect permanently transport market in order to identify/attract new customers;
- Analyze and respond to calls for quotations, compile and send quotations with seriousness and professionalism;
- Negotiate prices, terms and conditions of transport to be sent to carriers;
- Perform transport orders submitted by clients, informing the customer of their status throughout transport, follows orders to the collection of their value;
- Prepare transport files;
- Establish meetings with clients for field sales agents;
- Follow achievement daily, weekly, monthly;
- Report problems occurred;
Adecco Professional Placement is looking on behalf of its customer, a worldwide transport company (sea, air and trucking) for a Back Office Sales Consultant.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Experience in sales of road services obligatory - at least 2 years; 2 year background of freight forwarding (AF/SF) desirable
- Comprehensive understanding of Incoterms, supply chains and their cost structures, basic knowledge of customs formalities and taxation methods
- Very good communication skills by phone/email;
- Advanced knowledge of English, written/spoken
- Very good communication skills, team spirit, planning and negotiation, stress resistant, persistant despite set-backs
- Creative approach to challenges, finding customer-orientated solutions
- Ability to work with people, patience, attention, fairness, punctuality, reliability
- Knowledge of specific documents required for file preparation
- Knowledge of carriers in the transport business
- Ability to work with MS Office, Internet
