Axway is seeking a qualified, highly motivated Automation QA Engineer. He/she will have a key role in an Agile Team, responsible for the overall quality of the product, involved in planning, design, validation, verification, maintenance of the product.
Duties/Responsabilities:
• Understand and follow the established QA Process
• Take part in the requirements analysis on a team level
• Define test cases according to the requirements
• Create and maintain the test cases in the test case repository
• Create defects based on "root-cause" analysis
• Verify fixed defects based on risk assessment of the affected areas
• Creates and maintains QA related documentation (test strategies, test cases, test requirements…)
• Status reporting and QA metrics
• Responsible for the overall quality of the product
• Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
• User Interface test automation (QTP, SWTBot or equivalent)
• Knowledge of Unix and Linux
• Script programming (e.g.: UNIX shell, Perl, Python)
• Network and Internet Standards (TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SFTP)
• Experience using test management systems (e.g.: Test Director)
• Experience using defect tracking systems (e.g.: Mantis, Bugzilla)
• Experience working with at least one database (e.g.: Oracle, SQLServer) and PLSQL
• Experience working with XML Technologies
• Understanding of security algorithms and concepts (PKI infrastructures, SSL, S/Mime)
• Understanding of basic web application architecture
• Fluent or native in English
• University degree in Computer Science/Informatics/ Engineering or equivalent Experience in software testing is a plus
