RESPONSABILITATI

Tasks:
Under the Maintenance Engineering Team Leader authority, provides the functional technical support and assistance to the offshore facilities for all the maintenance problems related to Programmable Logic Controllers, Distributed Control Systems, Fire & Gas, Emergency Shutdown systems, Process Controllers, SCADA (Supervision Control Acquisition Data) and similar systems.
For new projects and modifications, participates in liaison with Construction and Engineering Departments, to the selection of new automated systems, taking into consideration the design, standardization, maintainability, and reliability aspects.
Participates to the technical reception and to the acceptance tests of these systems.
Provides technical assistance to Procurement and Logistics Department to identify and purchase specific spares, and to find new items to replace obsolete ones suffering from spares unavailability. This is particularly applicable to some Programmable Logic Controllers installed on Block 3 offshore facilities.
Ensure the transfer of all maintenance historical data and records from the previous CMMS software to the new one, as determined by the Company.
Participates to the data input into the new CMMS for maintenance works, predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, related work orders, and technical data for automated systems.
Review on a periodic basis the specific spares in stock for this category of equipment, and initiates the creation of new items if required, as well as the deletion of obsolete ones.
Review when required, the updating of the technical documents, i.e. logic diagrams, schematic views and similar documents.
In liaison with the Maintenance Superintendent offshore, recommends to the Head of Maintenance through the Maintenance Engineering Team Leader channel, the required training programs / career developments, for the young local Engineers and develops involved in automated systems.
This is almost mandatory for this category of equipment.
For this project and other ones, is involved during the project phase, in the selection of all automated systems, focusing on maintenance aspects i.e. maintainability and reliability.
Participates to the spares selection, including the insurance spares like electronic cards, and possibly hot spares, with due consideration to the equipment criticality.
Participates to the gathering and filing of the technical documents.
Build up the preventive maintenance and predictive programs, when applicable.
List the specific control tools and devices to be supplied to carry out the future maintenance and control of the automated systems.
Participates to the factory acceptance tests of the automated systems.
Participates to the recruitment and selection of the personnel dedicated to this activity, either direct hire or contracted.
Participates to the commissioning of these systems on offshore facilities and others.
Then, when entering the operational working phase for this Block 4, is in charge of all the tasks listed for Blocks 2 and 3.

Profile:
Graduated Engineer in Instrumentation and controls, with at least 10 years of experience in oil industry, preferably offshore. A good experience in Programmable Logic Controllers, Distributed Control Systems (D.C.S.), Fire & gas systems and the like, is also necessary.
Must be trained and certified for H2S, sea survival and HUET.
