AUTOMATION ENGINEER (PLC/SCADA)
Job description
A major and fast expanding international company, operating all over world offering high class water treatment solutions, is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of
PLC/SCADA ENGINEER where you will be responsible for:
Design and configuration of automation and control systems for water and waste water treatment plants (municipal and industrial plants);
Preparation of tender and procurement specifications for the automation and control system (PLC / SCADA);
Programming of the PLC's and SCADA systems based on the control philosophy provided by the process engineers;
Execution of factory acceptance test;
On-Site supervision during installation, and commissioning including site acceptance test for the control and automation system;
Development of data logging and reporting systems for the operational data;
Preparations / verification the documentation in related to the automation system.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
Technical university degree;
Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar positions, ideally gained in an international project environment;
Must have proven experience in programming with SIEMENS software packages, additional software packages e.g. Allen Bradley advantageous but not a must;
Ability to read engineering documents (P&I, PFD schemata, layouts drawings, single line diagrams, hook ups, etc.);
Excellent command of Romanian and English;
Ability to take initiative and work independently;
Team-minded and high ability to communicate;
Traveling within Romania required approx. 25-50%.
