The Automation Engineer is responsible for S7, WinCC and PCS7 and preparing technical offers, documentation, involvment in the offer process and participating in the technical negotiations with the customers. As the responsible person fot Automation for Siemens Oil&Gas products and services he/she is responsible for technical offers and reports directly to the Head of Business Unit. In the project execution he/she is responsible for the implementation of the project at the customer. Together with the team and under guidance of the project manager the Autoamtion Engineer will be responsible for a clearly defined scope of work in the project execution team.
- Responsible for S7, WinCC anc PCS7;
- Preparation of technical offers for Automation solutions;
- Developing automation solutions;
- Preparation of offers, including technical conformity;
- Being the active part in the process of project-release (LoA process, guidelines) in cooperation with Heads of Group and Sales Manager;
- Project related contact with the clients, participating in the technical negotiations;
- Implementation of technical solution at the customer;
- Preparation of improvement proposals;
- Co-ordination with other units/departments.
- Oil&Gas, Instrumentation, Automation, Electro-technical or Energetic University graduate;
- Fluency in English;
- German is an advantage;
- Min 5 years relevant experience in Oil&Gas market;
- Knowledge of product, solutions, services portfolio of the Oil&Gas Division;
- Knowledge of the market situation, strategy, decision market, business process;
- Knowledge of the clients resp specific industry;
- Experience in calculation of offers based on technical documentation;
- Experience in engineering and construction activities on-site incl as built documentation, commisioning etc;
- Basic commercial knowledge;
- Willigness to travel (B category driving license);
- Capability to work unde pressure.
