Perform unit, automation, system, integration and regression testing working in TCL and Perl.
Work closely with developers in problem recreation, make bugs isolation, troubleshooting and bug verification.
Clearly track test progress, conveys results, forward forecast areas of risk and provide mitigation plans.
Create and maintain automation tests environment to execute redundant manual testing for improved efficiency.
This position requires willingness to work in the networking testing field, dedication and self motivation, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
- Automation knowledge/experience in TCL/Expect/TK, Perl or other scripting languages on Windows/Unix environments.
- Clear understanding and industry experience of networking standards (such as TCP/IP, UDP, including IP network architecture, knowledge of IP voice, video protocols and IPTV standards).
- Understanding and experience on IP routing, firewalls, load balancing and/or network security.
- Ability to install, configure & debug networking devices.
- Strong familiarity with MS Word, Excel and GUI-based software applications.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Very strong organizational skills, supporting the ability to multi-task over multiple projects.
Will be considered advantages:
- CCNA and/or CCNP certification is a plus.
- Configuration, troubleshooting knowledge of different routing protocols in Cisco, Juniper and other vendors??? routers.
- Experience in Virtualization (VMware/Xen/HyperV).
- Highly organized and possessing a keen analytical/structured approach to problem solving and testing.
