RESPONSABILITATI

- Project manage mid to large scale due diligence/reporting assignments with particular responsibilities for: client interface, assignment team, project risk issues and billing/cost recovery
- Assume responsibility for production of quality deliverables (usually detailed written reports) within agreed timescales, reporting to the Partner/Director
- Ensure internal quality control procedures are fully complied with
- Lead assignment teams, assuming responsibility for junior staff development. Likely to involve leading more than one project at a time
- Participate in various marketing initiatives and practice development activities

- Manager in Audit oversee multiple engagements and are responsible for resolving all legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during the audit engagement.
- Managers have responsibility for the supervision and management of services to our clients, which include preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budgets, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and financial reporting.
- They must develop and motivate all engagement staff and provide them with counseling and career guidance.
- Managers have control over, and exercise wide latitude and discretionary decision-making in establishing the most advantageous course of action for the successful management of each audit engagement.
- They draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and know the range of firm services.
- Managers have proven deep technical expertise and have developed their reputation in a given industry/service line.
- They provide leadership in the timely delivery of quality services that exceed the expectations of our clients.
- Ideal candidates have 5-7 years of public accounting experience and a ACCA (or equivalent) certification.

The ideal candidates will have some or all of the following attributes:
- significant experience with 'big 4' public accounting firm - between 6 - 8 years;
- proven history of delivering training to audit staff on the audit approach and international financial reporting standards;
- willingness to deliver training - both facilitation and on-the-job - and a strong interest in doing so;
- great organizational skills;
- ambition to develop career in the public accounting profession;
- experience in auditing or working for a financial services company e.g. bank, insurance company (preferable);
- excellent English language skills.


DESCRIEREA FIRMEI

A Big 4 firm in Bucharest is looking for a Manager, Transaction Services. TS experience while desirable is not a prerequisite. An experienced auditor may have the right experience. In addition to a Manager other positions in TS may be available too.
Our client works with both corporate and private equity, transactions, dedicated to helping clients get the best value from their deals and managing their risk.
Products include financial due diligence and investigations for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or financial buyers, and vendors, reports to support a stock exchange
listing (reporting accountants), bid support in a competitive tender, sale and purchase and credit agreement negotiation support, post completion support and advice, and commercial due diligence.
Many transactions are completed in a cross border
environment, and involve working with our global specialist teams to provide multi-jurisdictional solutions.
