On behalf of our client, a major company of Auditors, Accountants and Business Advisors, which offers services of the highest standard to business operating both nationally and internationally, we are looking for a Audit Manager who fosters teamwork and innovation and shares knowledge with team members to enhance service delivery.
Main tasks and responsibilities
The candidate must have ability to establish audit objectives and scope of work, establish the engagement budget and take responsibility for the overall execution of the audit project through wrap-up and final report delivery. He/She must be able to maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and, developing productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Manages several teams and ensures planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives;
• Plans and co-ordinates all aspects of audit planning, including staffing requirements, invoicing and collection;
• Involved in the assessment of business risks analysis & control procedures designed & maintained by the audit clients;
• Responsible for managing key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients;
• Assists in the production and presentation of proposals for new work;
• Follows through on any concerns regarding an audit assignment with audit partner and manages to balance risks and commercial returns
• Prepares budgets for the departments
Requirements:
• Have at least 5 years experience in internal /external audit; experience gained in an audit/accounting firm will be a plus;
• Strong leadership skills in managing projects, processes and people;
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills;
• Ability to interact with cross functional teams across locations within Europe and globally;#
• ACCA member;
• Have sound professional and conversational English.
