JOB OBJECTIVE
- To ensure that all requests for quotes and bids from (new and existing) clients are addressed.
- To ensure that all completed projects are invoiced properly, with all extras, and that cash is received on time.
- To maintain centrally the tools to track the status of all projects, so the information is available to all Managers in the company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepares Bids & Quotes for small construction projects (EUR2-45k), using a standard methodology, and sometimes referencing the respective contracts.
- Collects and registers client contracts and Purchase Orders, and sets up the Job Number in our financial system.
- Systematically tracks the overall status of all projects in process (up to 10 large projects, and 30 smaller projects at a time); keeps in regular contact with the Crew Chiefs and Supervisors to remain updated on project problems and status.
- Based on information received from the Field Operations teams, prepares invoices to the clients.
- Follows up on collection of client invoices with frequent phone calls, ensuring that collection is on time.
- Calculates monthly Revenue of the company (based on the 90% Completed Contract rule), and delivers the inforamation to Accounting for the monthly accrual; helps gather information on Cost-to-Complete for all 90% finished jobs.
- Supports the Finance Manager by preparing regular Gross Margin Analysis reports for the completed projects (with help from the Commercial Manager, Operations Manager, and others, as needed), based around the Estimated GM% calculated at the beginning of the project.
University graduate, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering in Construction or Economics
Good communication skills in English are required; French language skills is a plus
2-4 years experience in a similar role, preferable in telecom construction, or other construction
