• Design and maintain websites and graphic elements for websites (such as panels, icons, buttons, etc.);
• Work closely with the Web Development team by:
- creating functionality models for your design;
- following the implementation of your artwork.
• Be part of the Marketing Department participate in the creation of:
- product and company marketing materials, such as product brochures, flyers & packages;
- targeted marketing materials for the sales department and sales partners (e.g. web-banners and buttons for promotional campaigns, email templates);
- company branded objects for internal and promotional use (e.g. bags, t-shirts, calendars)
• Produce accurate and high quality work;
• Work with tight deadlines.
Professional background:
• Strong web design skills and a proven record of designing websites; experience in dealing with complex corporate websites is an important plus;
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash (design-related ActionScript knowledge would be an advantage); experience with other static and motion design software (e.g. Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects) is considered a plus;
• A good understanding of web development technologies:
- HTML & CSS;
- Javascript understanding;
- Understanding of web programming concepts is considered a plus;
• Excellent understanding of web usability principles and user interface design;
• Basic knowledge (design-related) of Search Engine Optimization techniques;
• Skills in printing, layout, color theory, and corporate branding;
Personal Skills:
• Strong creative and visual skills with an eye for detail; good illustrative skills a plus;
• Ability to translate a creative brief into an effective marketing vehicle;
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as alone once the project objectives have been defined;
• Ability to work in extremely fast-paced environment;
• Strong work ethics, drive and enthusiasm to deliver high quality work;
• Great customer focus;
• Excellent English skills;
• A ‘can do’ attitude;
