Design and implement Oracle Applications and Technology based solutions in the Telecommunications area to customers/Telco Operators/Service Providers, etc.
Design and implement Oracle Applications and Integrate Applications using Oracle Technology for Business Support Systems in the Telecommunications area to customers/Telco Operators/Service Providers, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement Oracle Applications and Technology based solutions in the Business Support Systems area to customers/Telco Operators/Service Providers, etc.
- Specify, design and implement Integrations based on Service Oriented Architecture
- Define and map detailed technical requirements in areas such as Customer Order Management, Pricing and Billing/Revenue Management for the Telecommunications industry.
- Act as a Applications consultant in the area of Business Support solutions - Design, build, test and implement technical solutions Assist the Bid Management or Proposal Development teams in proposing technical solutions, architecture and tools based on past implementation experience
- Willingness to work onsite for periods ranging from short term to an extended duration, as required in EMEA or APAC
- Identify and communicate opportunities for cross and up selling Proactively maintain knowledge of Oracle's current architecture and directions and propose suitable solutions to our customers
- Proactively sell or assist in selling professional services both internally within the organization as well as to customers by demonstrating superior delivery skills.
- 3-5 years of relevant Telecommunications industry and BSS applications implementation/ development or integration experience preferably using Oracle tools and applications
- Hands-on experience in using Workflows, industry standard Enterprise Applications Integration (EAI) tools
- Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), web services, BPEL and related technologies and tools Experience in development using Java and PL/SQL
- User Interfaces experience
- Good understanding and appreciation of one or more of: Customer Management, Order Management, Products and Services, Pricing, Billing, Revenue Management and related functionality
- Experience in design of Technical Architecture using Oracle products highly desirable
- Prior experience in using / customizing any of the following applications would be an advantage: Siebel, PeopleSoft, Portal Billing, Metasolv
- Understanding of UNIX, Linux and Windows or related Operating Systems additional asset
- Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel abroad intensively for short and long time
- Fluent English is a must
