RESPONSABILITATI

Missions

You will study anti-piracy techniques on all gaming platforms for the Ubisoft group in order to help define the group policy.
You will ensure support to the development teams in all production subsidiaries worldwide.
You will be in relation with all anti-piracy companies around the world in order to find the best technique on the market and you will evaluate them.

Depending on your profile will also be working on various projects for the Engineering Studio. A non-exhaustive list of projects includes:
- Game customization (Image/Sound/Movie files and game engine manipulation)
- Game Installer (Game Packing and Copy Protection)
- Games compilation (Creating compilations of games, adding several versions and languages on the same CD/DVD)
- Game tools (Hardware Detection tools, Editors)
- Game localization (Integrating localized text in games)

Computer skills
- Languages:
Mandatory:
- C#, C/C++
Desirable
- PHP, Perl, X86 Assembler, Visual Basic For Applications, ASP.NET Technologies + Databases
- Other Skills:
Previous experience in dealing with computer security breaches is appreciated
General knowledge of Image File formats/Sound File formats/Movie File formats
General knowledge of Windows OS internals (Registry/OS Files and Folders structure/Tweaks)
Microsoft Office (Use/Development)

- Other desirable computer skills:
UML notations
Knowledge of general game structure and game files on different platforms as well as burning/copy tools and protections
Microsoft Visual Studio .net (2003/2005/2008)
.NET Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5

Other skills
- 1 year of experience in Software Development (3 years and above preferred)
- Strong communication skills (daily contact with subsidiaries abroad is an important part of the job)
- Rigorous, well organized
- Fluent in English, French is a definite plus
- Ability to work as a team member as well as autonomously
- Ability to take initiatives
