On behalf of our client, one of the largest oil and gas contractors in the world, we are looking for an ANRE- 1T Specialist.
Main activities:
* Performing technical tasks as designing, checking or study activities assigned by his superiors;
* Interfacing with Project Specialists and Designers from other departments;
* Developing engineering activities in tender and execution project phase within the assigned budgets, time schedule and quality standards;
* Ensuring management of project interfaces and supervision of in-out information flow;
* Defining and monitoring cost impacts of selected design solutions;
* Ensuring the capitalization of projects experience for improving and equalizing the methodologies of work through the continuous improvement and best practices;
* Contributing at personnel management and outsourcing;
* Implementing the Company operating guide and key performance indicators;
* Coordinating technical activities performed inside or outside the Company (subcontractors and vendors).
* Certification for designing and execution of natural gas transmission pipeline (ANRE – 1T);
* Strong knowledge of on-shore / off shore natural gas pipeline engineering;
* Technical degree required in oil & gas or other relevant engineering discipline;
* At least 5 years of experience in various aspects related to upstream oil & gas pipelines;
* Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modeling activities (AutoCAD);
* Experience in pipeline risk assessment & mitigation, fitness for service, feature assessment, using International standards (ASME, ISO, EN, DEP, SHELL, API);
* Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) standards, procedures and practices, commercial GIS packages and open source GIS packages;
* Knowledge of programming languages and environment like ASP, NET, C++, VB, will be an asset;
* Fluent in English (both spoken and written), Italian language will be an asset;
* Must have full complement of project management skills including cost and schedule, design and construction management, resource planning, procurement and permitting;
* Ability to effectively work in a diverse team environment and to act with integrity;
* Well organized in work planning and schedule;
* Ability to simultaneously manage and lead multiple tasks/projects effectively to meet customer expectations;
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision;
* Adapting quickly and effectively to change;
* Availability to travel if necessary according to project requirements.
