We are looking for an AngularJS Developer responsible for the client side of our services. Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a desktop and mobile web app, with a focus on performance. Your main duties will include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional app. You will work in a team with the designer that will deliver the layouts, a frontend developer that will deliver HTML templates, with a back-end developer, and communicate with the API using standard methods.
Responsibilities / Day to day activity
Delivering a complete front end application
Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
Communicating with external web services
Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts
Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS
Developing user flows and prototyping/comping complex user experiences (frontend and administrative) for mobile applications and websites
Ensuring that interfaces are responsive, cross-browser/cross-platform/cross-device compatible, accessible by all, compelling, elegant, and user-centered.
Working within a fast-paced, continuous delivery, agile development environment.
Requirements / Skillset / Experience
Very strong, hands-on front end development skills with JavaScript, but also good knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, Sass, Less.
Strong hands-on experience in Single Page Application (SPA) Architecture, design, software engineering and development. AngularJS is ideal, or other equivalent technology (Ember.js, ExtJS, React, Knockout)
Deep understanding of the principles of responsive design
Willingness to engage not only at the user-experience/conceptual level, but also to be the primary hands-on developer that executes those ideas.
Ability to provide SEO solutions for single page apps
Comfortable with standard version control tools (Git, SVN)
Understanding of common software development practices
Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time
Ability to create wireframes and to rapidly prototype your work
Willingness to engage in a variety of tasks as needed
Excellent communication skills
Ability to self-teach new technology and teach others
Nice to have Qualifications/Skills
Experience with AJAX and PHP
Experience in NodeJS is a big plus
Experience designing Mobile or Interactive TV applications

At the present moment the Ownzones team located here, in Romania is composed of back-end and front-end web developers&architects working on the reconstruction of the streaming platform. The romanian team was formed aprox. 8 months ago, and and its purpose is to be involved exclusively in the development area of the project. This is an opportunity to join a recently formed development team, and to be actively involved in the technology stack completion for the development process.
