Role:
Identify, assess, monitor and control risks and provide internal decision makers with accurate, complete, relevant and updated risk management information to be used in daily business decisions;
Increase personnel's risk management awareness and support the application of risk management across organization;
Handle regulatory and internal reports in a timely manner;
Act in a professional manner, as a reliable and reputable resource in respect of risk management matters.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the financial reports in line with the mandatory request from NBR for NFI’s;
Build, improve, manage and test risk management tools, reports, databases, processes and procedures (e.g. operational risk data collection & management, assessment scorecards) with focus on reporting quantitative data to qualitative-oriented senior executives;
Preparation of the risk management reports in line with the international reporting standards and Basel II;
Analysis of the bank's and the business lines' financial results;
Perform risk oriented analyses;
Development risk management scenarios;
Track operational risk issues and liaise with heads of business, control and audit units to follow up outstanding matters, with a proper audit trail.
University degree, graduation in Business or Banking is an advantage;
Experience in banking with a good understanding of banking processes is a must; exposure to operational risk management, audit and/or control is a significant asset;
Knowledge of banking accounting, Statistics and Basel principles & regulations are valuable assets;
Fully developed personal profile in order to be able to interact with people across the organization and the bank;
Good command of English;
Very good MS Office knowledge;
Communicative person, analytic thinking, solution oriented, team member.
