Responsibilities:
• Oversees the entire lifecycle of software projects, from the initial analysis to versioning and maintenance.
• Designs complex software applications according to business needs and budgetary constraints.
• Collects the business requirements and translates those into technical requirements.
• Defines the development process.
• Researches and evaluates alternative options and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solution for the system design.
• Creates the architecture of the software application.
• Technical documentation of the solution.
• Development, supervision of coding and testing of software components.
• Involves in defining, preparation and outsourcing parts of the tasks to an outsourcing company.
Requirements:
• University degree in computer science, software analysis or development stream preferably.
• At least 3 years of development (and coding) and minimum 1 year experience in analysis; previous work in international companies desirable.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and modelling languages (UML, ERM, etc).
• Experience in gathering, analysis and formalizing of user requirements.
• Knowledge of client/server architectures, OOP and design, data and deployment patterns.
• Background with RUP or other software engineering methodologies, programming algorithms.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning and development skills.
• Good understanding of the processes.
