On behalf of our client, leader in Banking and Financial services in Europe, we are looking for a skilled AML Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Conducting different country specific alert investigations using global standard policies and regulations;
Detecting any suspicions of money laundering or terrorist financing activity using external and internal systems and sources;
Conducting enhanced due diligence investigations;
Escalating the suspicious activities and providing support for the escalation process;
Building and adapting knowledge of money laundering processes;
Corresponding with the customer service department, the relationship managers and the compliance team;
Contributing to enhancement of systems and methodologies;
Contributing to the simplification of processes;
Participating in training activities.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant banking area;
University / college degree in economics or finance;
Fluency in English in written and verbally;
Knowledge of compliance regulations and money laundering and terrorist financing schemes;
Good understanding of compliance and legal operational tools;
Proficiency in MS Office.
