The UNIX Engineer will be part of IT Department; he will be involved in installing, configuration, maintenance and tuning of complex server infrastructure solutions.
-Installs, Configures and offers maintenance services on different UNIX servers
-Manages customer requests, remote and on-site intervention, forwards request to the Support team , finding solutions
-Tracking stocks of spares consumable
Experience in system administration of UNIX servers
-Configuration, different server categories, system resource allocation
-Upgrade and replacing hardware components
Very Good service and maintenance skills:
-console management update
-micro codes update, codes activation
-partitioning, resource allocation on different partitions
-hardware reconfiguration
-replacing faulty components
Good UNIX administration skills
-Installing, configuration and updates for the operating system
-Defining the back-up and recovery strategy
-High-availability HACMP, installing and configuration
-Very good knowledge in error identification, finding solutions, defining workarounds
-Remote control access and management, troubleshooting, collection of system error files
