For one of our clients, an US-based leading provider of agricultural products and solutions, we are looking for an Agricultural Engineer - Sunflower Specialist.
Responsibilities:
Running the testing network to develop sunflower hybrids for the mid-maturity markets in the East European area;
Supporting all work related to the hybrid testing in Romania, including testing setup, site selection, planting, field management, data collection, trials harvest, data analysis and interpretation;
Selecting, hiring and training technicians and temporary workers;
Supporting machinery maintenance & improvement, as well as the transportation logistic.
University degree in Agriculture;
Field work orientation and skills;
People management skills;
Knowledge and experience with agricultural machinery;
Good English level;
Experience with computers.
