Our client is a multinational company which activates in the automotive field.
The Advanced Procurement Buyer is responsible to launch successful Bought Out New Products (Cost, Timing, Quality and Capacity).
Key responsibilities:
- Investigate for new technologies and solutions
Identify Potential Suppliers (New & Existing) according to the New Product development needs
- Perform Potential Supplier Systems and Technical Assessment with the support of Supplier Development Engineers
- Guide Sourcing selection for New Platform Programs based on Commodity Strategy
- Responsible for New Products Commercial deliverables (piece price, capacity, investment, tooling cost and budget;contract as terms and conditions; non disclosure agreement , exclusivity A
agreement, long term agreement )
- Support Platforms in manufacturing Cost Analysis
- Externalize HTT processes when required by Integrated Supply Chain Strategy
- Manage Request for Quotation process
- Support Prototypes activities
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Master degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, preferably within the Automotive Industry
- Program management experience in automotive environment
- Proven experience in complex supplier negotiations including preparing and administering Long Term Agreements
- Proven effectiveness in working in a global, multicultural environment
- Working experience with SAP or ERP environment (knowledge of SAP would be a plus)
- Fluent in English
- Results oriented, enthusiastic and enjoys challenges
- Assertive and highly motivated
- Team player with ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization
