You will …
… be responsible for the backend development of the innovative, enterprise class CMS system, 1&1 MyWebsite (http://mywebsite.1and1.com). Your work will affect over 100.000 businesses from all over the world;
… work in a professional software development team where security and load optimization come naturally;
… take responsibility for the technical conceptual design, the implementation and timely rollout of the product;
You will be responsible with new development, expansion and consolidation of the existing application and will work in close collaboration with product management and other departments.
And, most important of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic ePublishing Applications Romania team.
… excellent knowledge of PHP 5 (at least 3 years of experience)
… experience with at least one major PHP framework
… solid understanding of OOP, best practices and design patterns
… basic SQL knowledge and experience with at least one RDMS and one PHP ORM
… basic JavaScript knowledge
… basic Linux knowledge
… openness to learn and work with new technologies
… very good command of the English language
Would be a plus:
… experience with Zend Framework
… experience with Propel
… experience with jQuery
… experience with PHP Unit
… knowledge of Web Security practices
… basic HTTP architecture and Apache knowledge
… experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST, RPC)
… experience with source code versioning (Subversion)
… knowledge of Regular Expressions
… readiness to travel abroad
… knowledge of German language
