-To administer and support all issues regarding Microsoft infrastructure.This includes server security, data back-up, server installation/maintenance, server application installation/maintenance, Active Directory administration, and email server administration;
Server roles include, but are not limited to: domain controllers, file, print, DNS, FTP, terminal, email, backup, file replication, antivirus, syslog and security;
- To maintain the server environment by performing functions such as proactive problem management and identification of potential issues;
- To perform backup and recovery, capacity management, performance management, preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex issues;
- To work with various technologies in troubleshooting activities;
- To develop and maintain the infrastructure documentation and operational support procedures;
- 3 years of experience in Information Technology with at least 1 year supporting Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory in a multiple domains and multiple sites environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003 and of Windows 2003 Operating System;
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience with backup and anti-virus software is a plus;
- Hands on hardware experience;
- Knowledge of network topologies;
- Strong customer service skills and a desire to provide the best service possible;
