-The Acquisitions Manager / Project Manager will be responsible for analysing and advising on rural investments for our client, and managing these investments on behalf of the Fund in accordance with its longer term objectives and interest as defined in the fund documentation.
- The Acquisitions Manager will perform these duties throughout Romania.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsibilities for the sourcing of new investments opportunities [building in the first place a network in the agricultural business which enables to generate proprietary deals]
- Producing / assisting with the financial analysis [to work in close relation with the portfolio manager / finance manager / controller for projects involving a wide variety of property type and investment structures]
- Obtaining relevant market data to support / assist the superior drafting country reports with high quality market intelligence
- Monitoring / administrating the full course of the acquisition process [filing, signing, complying with all policies and procedures set up within the acquisition process]
- Assisting in negotiating any related contracts, and manage the due diligence/closing process.
- Working independently and eventually take lead in completing all acquisition related responsibilities for each potential investment
- Effectively coordinating and managing multiple transaction assignments [ESA, ASA, appraiser etc]. Prioritizing tasks and efforts is a must.
- Reporting to the Regional Agricultural Asset Manager of Romania
- Relevant academic background - master's degree (economics, legal, fiscal)
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience (acquisitions, project management)
- You are able to multi-task and you will not get stressed to meet deadlines
- Excellent command of English language (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as in a small team preparing to work transparently
- Affinity with the agricultural sector
- Strong in analytics
- Excellent organisational and reporting skills
