Reviewing and controlling several financial functions for allocated companies;
Preparing reports, statistics and other financial results for allocated clients;
Ensuring the compliance of all accounting and tax calculations with local regulations and with International Accounting Standards, UK or US GAAP;
Maintaining permanent contact with clients on day to day operations and complex issues;
Informing the clients about changes in legislation / potential tax and statutory compliance risks;
Drafting and reviewing complex reports, memorandums, specific issues that require complex knowledge;
Ensuring that the final work is delivered to the client in a clear and concise manner and within agreed deadlines;
Maintaining the relationship with the local authorities on any tax issues, such as tax audits, VAT reimbursements, etc.;
Coordinating the activity of the allocated team;
Providing on the job training and assistance, reviewing and appraising accountants, junior and senior accountants.
For one of our clients, a multinational company activating in financial services field, we are looking for an Accounting Supervisor.
Requirements:
Business graduate, qualified accountant (ACCA, CECCAR or other professional body);
Relevant experience in accounting field;
Knowledge of IFRS, accounting closing procedures, local accounting requirements, financial statements;
Knowledge of general procedures of tax (VAT, withholding);
Proven managerial skills;
Fluency in English or in French.
