RESPONSABILITATI

1)Technical and specialist knowledge:
- Review of reports – management and statutory reports;
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of data processing;
Ensuring all processed data is based on complete and accurate supporting documentation;
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of tax calculations and statutory reports;
Responsible for the review of reports and statistics and other financial results for allocated companies;
Formulates and administers approved accounting practices and ensure all tax calculations comply with local regulations.

- Review of standard/regular correspondence with clients:
Reviews the daily correspondence with clients on accounting issues, tax issues, missing documents;
Informs the clients about changes in legislation.

- Coordinates the activity of accountants and junior accountants for which he/she is responsible:
Responsible for reviewing and controlling several financial functions for allocated companies;
Provides on the job training, assistance, reviews and appraises accountants and junior accountants;
Works independently in all financial matters related to allocated clients, co‐operates with others according to the needs of the accounting department;
Ensures that the reporting deadlines are met;
Ensures the proper management of cash and bank accounts;
Ensures the proper management of payables and receivables;
Ensures that all deadlines and budgets are met;
Is proactive and uses initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiency for clients;
Allocates the staff resources under supervision in an efficient and effective manner;
Prepares accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards, IAS, US or UK GAAP;
Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation and informs superiors on the changes;
Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects.

2)Teamwork
Contributes (personally and by managing junior staff) to the team to enable objectives and deadlines to be met by:
‐anticipating and addressing issues resulting from conflicting or over‐workloads;
‐questioning junior staff to establish whether they have any concerns;
‐being willing to help others by answering questions, sharing knowledge that enables them to perform their work at the company's standards.

3) Compliance
Works in compliance with all the company's procedures and related standards of work (check up lists for every info/report);
Meets all deadlines without being asked;
Manages relationship with clients and relevant bodies by:
‐telephoning for obtaining information;
‐attending meetings with clients / going to clients premises if the job requires so;
‐responding to queries;
‐assisting managers;
Reviews letters to clients concerning financial statements, in accordance with the company's standards;
Prepares the timesheet daily;
Keeps the desk clean and organised and, at each day‐end, puts all the client files back in the cupboards.

4) Planning
Ensures appropriate staff allocation (spare capacity has to be communicated to other client team members);
Setting realistic deadlines for self and junior staff, specially by aiding them in planning and prioritising their work and ensuring that all relevant resources are being used;
Performs work in accordance with the company's budgets;
Is able to work on a certain number of clients in the same time and prioritises the work;
Is able to adapt to change, to remain focused and to deliver results;
Organises the work in an efficient manner;
Ensures good implementation of the company's working procedures and contributes to their improvement;

5) Training others
Ensures appropriate training for staff under supervision;
Performs regular tests to ensure that the staff under supervision understand the tasks allocated;
Organise with other supervisors training courses for junior staff.

Number of customer complaints/satisfied clients;
New work brought for the company in case of existing clients;
Capacity of supervising a number of clients and leading the team of junior accountants / accountants;
Communication problems;
Non‐compliance with the company's policies.
