For our client, a world leading corporation, CVO Finance Recruitment is looking for an Accounting Manager, able to combine outstanding technical knowledge with excellent soft skills (team management and development, negotiation, diplomacy).
Responsibilities:
- Acts as overall co-ordinator on all finance matters;
- Ensures that the reporting deadlines are met (statutory and IFRS);
- Ensures the proper management of cash and bank accounts;
- Ensures the proper management of payables and receivables;
- Ensures that all deadlines and budgets are met;
- Prepares accounts in accordance with IAS/US GAAP;
- Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation;
- Keeps relationship with state authorities on any tax issues, such as tax audits, VAT reimbursements, etc.
- Provides on the job training, assistance, reviews and appraises accountants and junior accountants;
- Allocates the staff resources under supervision in an efficient and effective manner.
Specific requirements:
- Finance Graduate, CECCAR and ACCA are a plus
- Minimum 5 years experience in Romanian and International Accounting and at least 1 year in a coordination position
- Fluency in English, other language is a plus
- Excellent Excel knowledge
- Ability to lead and motivate large teams
