-Plan, organize and control the accounting operations;
-Ensure the accuracy of the accounting transactions, in accordance with the Romanian legislation;
-Coordinate and review the monthly, quarterly and annual closing of financial statements in accordance with RAS and IFRS
-Follow legislation changes and implement them in the polices and procedures of the Accounting Department, to ensure the observance of the legislation in force (financial, fiscal and commercial);
-Preparation and analysis of various internal financial reports;
-Review the reporting package for the Finance Director and the Board;
-Coordinate, supervise, motivate and develop the team members to achieve high quality performance standards
-University degree in Finance & Accounting / Economics
-Minimum 5 years experience in financial-accounting area on a similar position (both RAS and IFRS knowledge required) - previous experience in pharmaceutical industry would be considered an advantage;
-Minimum 2 years experience in leading and structuring an efficient accounting team ;
-Strong knowledge of Romanian fiscal laws and regulations;
Certified accountant, qualified ACCA would be considered an advantage;
-Sound IT skills (previous working experience with SAP would be considered an advantage);
-English (advanced level, both writing and speaking)
-Strategic and independent thinking;
-Capacity for analysis and synthesis
-Leadership, strong communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit, self motivation
